Right now I'm in my kitchen inking the piece that was voted on in this journal, and baking cookies. The cookies will be taken to various friends' houses tomorrow as I go about distributing presents that I forgot to give people before.
There is something special in my family's house the night before Christmas. Everybody fights a little less. Everybody gives hugs a bit less reticently. We have dinner (in front of the TV - this year we were watching the House Christmas special), then play games or music, and then everyone scampers off to their respective rooms to wrap last-minute gifts.
